You should post this in the modified forum. This forum is for stock Explorers not modified. Lifting is definitely modifying. you will probably get a quicker/better answer there.

Davids right, you are in the wrong forum and wrong year.
I moved your thread to the correct forum. Here is the place to ask this question.

Easy slugger. Relax, take a deep breath, kick the dog, and try posting again.

To answer your question, yes, the kit for the '98-01 will work and is what you want for any Sport from '95-'03.

Sorry genius. By the way, you shouldn't ask 5 different questions using one runon post.

Can't remember if the 03 sport uses a solid axle or a Independant rear axle. If its a solid axle, then you can do the 4" lift kit, body lift, TT/shackle, RCD etc. Depending on what your goals are for the truck and how much your willing to spend will help you decide your route.

If it's a 2-door, it'll be a solid rear axle. 2-door sports were never made with IRS. For '03, it should have a leaf pack as well, instead of the mono-leaf.

Also, my original response was assuming it was a 2-door Sport, not a 4-door XLT with the 'Sport' trim package. If it's a 4-door, I retract my previous statements and replace them with 'You're SOL. There is no kit for your truck.'
