Extend A/C Hose for Body Lift?

I have a 3" body lift on my truck. This tightens the A/C an puts it very close to the fan belt and tensioner pulley. When my fan belt blew out, it took out a hole in the hose.

Is there an easy way I can extend the new hose to prevent this?

In years past, some of the "real" parts stores carried bulk A/C hose and special barbed fittings/junctions with special hose clamps...not sure if they still do, but worse case, I am sure a A/C shop can either extend the existing hose, or make one up.

Ive got a 01 sport and I had the same issue when I first lifted it. My solution.....bend the f*cker. You dont need to move it much, it doesnt kink the line and still works. No need to spend any money, just about 3 mins of your time.

My solution was simply to ziptie the line up out of the way and that got it another inch away from the belt..... it's worked for about 180,000 miles now. Oh yeah, performing routine maintenance by replacing the fan belt before it's due to shred probably helped me too
