Headlight Lens Replacement

I ordered a pair of headlight lenes today off of ebay. I went outside and popped the hood to look how it needs to be done. Question: Does taking the grill off help to remove the existing lens.

I want to but in a billet grill soon. However I would like to wait on purchasing the grill Question: (The opposite) Do you need to take any part of the lights out to get the grill off?

I guess one question will kinda answer the other...

I know I recently replaced my headlights on my 97. It was quite simple, you need to remove the cover under the hood that covers the lights.

Then remove the grill

Then the 2 scews on each set of corners, the corners should just pull out.

last and not least the headlights should be removed by using a set of needle nose pliers, and squeezing the black tabs together, and pull out carefully.

I'd rather not because mine are still in great shape. I could put them up on ebay if they are still in one piece.

I just recently removed my Black Headlights to put the HiD conversion kit in. I found removing the grill made the world of difference.

2 tabs on the outside are easily gotten to, the single inside was a little harder to get to.

The headlights are in 1 piece still, and clipped back into place without problems. With minimal adjustment too.
