mass pre-recorded call?

ok does anybody know how to pre-record a message and then call a certain number of pre-set phone numbers with that message? i'm assuming it's a computer program maybe....
any comment's are appreciated

you need an autodialer like this http://www.voicent.com/autodialers.php they arnt cheap tho

no i have not decided to become a telemarketer...i am very involved in boyscouts and we are having problems with communication from the leaders to the members and i figure if i can call each person...but not physically have to call them it would be a very efficient thing

Any way to use a website? I know we had to go that way with the hockey teams I've coached by posting information on team sites like eteamz.com

Sometimes you can't get around the phone calls though...

Sorry, just the first thing that popped into my head when I read that.

Maybe you could get everyone in the troop to give you an email address, then send one email and copy everyone.

already been tried..the issue is people change email so often and human error often makes it become wrong when typed down...and just for reference we aren't dealing w/ a troop we're dealing w/ a council....600+ people

As gsx220 mentioned, what you need is an "auto dialer" but they are not cheap. I spent a few mins to see if there is a totally freeware one out there but no luck
