Which one should i pick.

What would be better for general loudness and good low SQ. 2 mb-quart RWE-302 (12"), 1 alpine type x (10"), 2 alpine type r (10").

good low sound quality is an oxymoron.

The MB Quarts will sound nice but aren't SPL based.

The Type Rs are very well performers all around.

The Type X is Alpines sound quality sub...I love them. They can take a beating but still sound really nice.

I would FIRST look into how much space you are willing to sacrifice for the subwoofer enclosure.

The Type R's sound like crap in sealed enclosures.

The Type X sounds OK in sealed.

The MB Quarts sound really good sealed.

How they sound ported will depend on the enclosure design.

Type X is not that power hungry...all you need is an efficient enclosure.
