The front will as both are TTB (Twin Traction Beam) suspensions. The rear can, but it not a bolt in. On Rangers the rear is spring over axle, whereas on Explorers the rear is spring under axle. You can convert an Explorer to spring over (search SOA). Also keep in mind that the Explorer has more weight over the rear than a Ranger so you may not get the advertised lift, but the SOA will give you ~4" lift.

ok so if i did the SOA on the rear for 4 inches which seems simple ( i have alot of mechanics in my family) what would I have to do for the front that is inexpensive but will give me equal height? any thoughts or ideas? My 92 explorer XLT is a budget build so cheap or free is good lol.

There isn't a budget way to get 4" inches of suspension lift on the front. You're going to need a suspension lift kit to get that. The radius arm, pivot, and ? brackets have to drop and you'll need extended pitman arm.

ive actualy been wondering the same thing. ive got a 91 explorer and im looking for about 6 inches of lift, the 3 inch body just isnt big enough! I am looking for a used lift, just don't have 1600 for a brand new one, but 300 to 600 for a used. ive found a few used lifts but they are all for rangers, will those lifts bolt up to my sploder>?
