$1000 Hunting ride

I have a 1000 bucks to spend on something to use for in the woods and for hunting. I spotted this in a classified ad for $900. Rebuilt motor, 4x4 works, looked a bit rough, but ran well and the heater worked good lol I got him down to $400 bucks, so i took it.

The inside was a bit shaky, but will do for now

Well, i picked up a few cans of black paint, a new battery, cd player, some camo paint, and some decals.

Painted the rims and the bottom half of the explorer

I did a little body work and painted the top half of the explorer

So far $400 for the explorer, $50 for the paint, $70 for the battery and maybe $20-$30 bucks for little things, so all and all it's turning out to be a nice woods ride.

Nice buy indeed. Since this is a hunting rig, rip out all carpet front and rear. And then do a Rhino line thing. Also by removing all carpet you will with out a doubt find some rust areas that need attending to.
I would also add some of those removable rubber stopper plugs in the floor. This will help in water drainage after spraying out all the mud from your hunting boots and associated gore in the back from caring out all the game your going to get.
Also I know that you must be thinking of some aggressive looking tires?
Now make sure you post a pick of that Pa Buck in the back.
