Part time spare tire carrier?

I want to carry a full size spare when i'm far from home and dont love the idea of a roof rack with a 32" tire on it. Understand this is a horrible drawing but could something like this be done with the hitch and some square tubing? Or would the weight of the tire when turning cause a problem? I've never seen one of these, i just thought it could be thrown on in a min. if you were heading out.

as long as your welds are good that should be plenty strong for a single tire. i would imagine that product already exists.

in fact it does...

I like the idea to haul a spare but what if you get stuck and need to pull out form the rear........that didn't sound good....

I think it would be a pain to have to take it off, to use the hitch as a tow point.... I like the rear bumper with the spare tire and fuel carrier all in one combo that alot of guys on here have
