Maintenance Schedule for Spark Plugs
I have 72k miles on my 07 Sport Trac and had to bring it to the dealership to have the harmonic balancer and belt replaced. (harmonic balancer was coming apart).
When I picked it up this evening, the inspection paper had a note that they recommend replacing the spark plugs. Isn't 72k a bit early to have the plugs replaced? |

...not if you have the V8. Either or, they are probably due if they've never been replaced. All the horror stories of the V8 plugs, I'll probably change mine at 30k.

Yeah, I read horror stories about the V8s as well. I have the 4.0L V6.

The manual says 100k. 72k is close enough. I'd get it done.
