DPFE rough idle

I have a 1994 exp. and have a rough idle on cold and warm start up. poped the hood and have a hissing sound from the dpfe sensor and the rough idle after a 1 min or 2 the missing goes away and it idles perfect. Just wanted to know if this could be a bad dfe sensor. also the hoses that connect to the dpfe sensor DONT have cracks they look good.
