HOW TO - 1989 TownCar door panel removal

Materials

1. stubby Screw driver star or slotted

2. 8 mm socket

right so for step one.

remove hidden screws there are two in the door latch and one off to the side by the lock where the door links with frame the door lock nob just pulls out ( Not pictured) . also the small panel that says DOOR LOCK and has the arrow snaps into the socket there, find a way to snap it out and manuver the control rod back out toward the door.

then to pull out the siver dish thing pull the latch handle and pull out.

STEP 2

NEXT remove the control buttons with a screw driver and let them hang for a bit. also grab your 8mm socket and back out the bolt holding the latch handle to the latch. and set aside. there then are two screws holding the panel by bracket to the frame. u can access them with a small screw diver by using the holes for the buttons from above

U can now just pull the door panel off.

Thanks for taking the time to make a how to thread. Which program did you use to make those fancy quotes?
