CAN odd noise from dash

I have an incredibly annoying noise coning from what appears to be the dash where the speedometer/tach. The noise is somewhat like a a computer noise or like metal scratching only happens when engine is running and when vehicle in motion. Any ideas?

Tach or odomeder cable may be loose, pop out the gauges and make sure nothing is loose back there.

Agreed, speedometer cable. Check that the cable is correctly inserted and not bound up. Use a little compressed air to blow out th mechanisms.
