Engine shuts off when put into gear.

Has anyone had a problem with the engine shutting off when you put it in gear? This just started all of a sudden.

Do you see a "check engine" light while the engine is running?

No the check engine light did not come on, but we do not even know if it is working.

hmm, it should turn on when you switch the key to the on position.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 91-94 section. Clean the IAC solenoid valve.
