Welcome to this forum! Some members have swapped 15" wheels. As for the daytime running light issue, check to see if a relay is getting stuck. You might have a problem with the module or the sensor.

I had the exact same symptom after I installed a supposedly brand new OEM DTL relay from RockAuto (TechSmart F03001). The reason I installed a new relay is because the passenger side daytime running light was not giving off enough light.

But after I installed the new DTR relay, the daytime running lights were operating at high beam. When I turned the headlights ON a couple of days later, the high beam dash light was illuminated. But when I turned the engine off and removed the ignition key, the "high beam" daytime running lights stayed ON. When I got home, I had to disconnect the battery cables.

I re-installed the original Ford DTR relay, and everything seems fine and dandy. I still can't figure out why a brand new DTR relay behaved in such a weird and unpredictable way.

BTW, I have 15 inch Explorer steel rims installed on my 1993 Aerostar. See my Flickr website: 97aerostarcargo or 93AerostarSportXL.
