2006 Radiator Removal and Install

I'm going to replace my radiator in my '06 EB 4.6l and I'm going to see how accurate these install instructions are...

Let us know how it went.

I also have 06 v8, so I am curious. Why do you need to replace it ?

Good luck.

Did the change on a V6 without the need of removing the cooling fan.
Be sure to get the transmission cooler line disconnect tool.
My new radiator is from Spectra Premium:

Well.. considering I forgot to take my laptop to my parent's house (where I did the install) I just went for swapping out the radiator without instructions. After installing the new radiator and then coming home and reading these instructions.. Seems pretty spot on. The only problem I had was removing the old radiator.. Other than that, it was pretty simple. I also decided to replace the A/C clutch, coil, and pulley. at the same time.

Nice!..................What radiator did you buy, and what cooler line disconnect tool did you use?

Here is what I used to complete the job. I had to shave the disconnect tool a little using some 220 sandpaper so it would fit completely around the trans line..
