US 01 Ford Explorer Sport ISSUES?

Hello everybody. I got a situation. I have yet to go to a mechanic due to my hetic schedule. But I came across a 01 ford Explorer sport from a buddy of mines in Florida. He was a away and needed $1000. Being the Chevy guy I am(no pum), I decided to buy the truck from him for my fiance. So I drove all the way the Florida. Got it drove it all the way back to NC. The oil was good. Heres what i noticed. It needs brakes. Ok no biggie

After getting back and letting the truck sit. I started it & noticed a loud rattling sound that later died down. Now it does it everytime when its first started all tho it rides smooth. At stop lights it tends to tremble a lot. I was thinking maybe a tune up, maybe some one crossed up the wires. I was told it could be the oil pump or possibly a IAC?. I was told it may be a electrical problem from where a black box alarm system was removed. I did noticed when i locked the doors and acidently touched the key to it, it created a blue spark.

Has any one else ever had these problems with the truck? Thanks for any help or advice.

mine does the same. It seems to vibrate a lot and doesn't sound like it is running the best. When driving it is fine but when at idle the engine shakes a little.

I have cleaned the IAC the throttle body and the MAF sensor in addition to putting injector cleaner in the tank. no luck although it has made it a little better. It isn't bad enough to the point where I would take it in but it is noticeable if I have the windows down or i am standing outside the car. It has been doing it for a while though and I have just gotten use to it. My old ford did the same thing as well.

erikvanden- Don't recall you checking the PCV valve,
you've already cleaned the usual suspects. (IAC, TB, MAF, elbow)
