Source for replacement driveshaft
What is a good source for a replacement 4WD rear shaft? My slip yoke has noticable slop in it (just grabbing both ends and twisting) and I believe it's producing a clunk in my driveline.
I realize the junkyard is a source - but it seems like the slip joints tend to wear out, would it be prudent to just get a new one? Anything cheaper than getting one fabricated at a driveshaft shop? Thanks all __________________ 2000 Explorer Sport, 4.0 OHV, straight drive, RWD, 166,000 miles |
