Just some pictures of my first car: 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7
351W 4v

The first few pictures are from a non-digital camera but best pictures I have so far.

Brand new bumper since this picture.


Mom in the driver's seat (keys in my hand).




Here's the latest pictures when I trailered it from my parents' house to mine. When in college, I ended it's daily driver duties when gas hit $4.00/g and got an Accord. That's when I started an engine rebuild that is now going on 6 years and no closer to finished. It sits in the garage waiting for love while I wait on money (promotion yesterday!).

Something like 54,000 I think. Never rebuilt. Caveat: the odometer rolls over 99k.

That's the long way of saying "I don't know."

Is the interior made out of vinyl or carpet & cloth? My Grandfather had a 1972 Torino with a vinyl interior.
