Cracking noise when heater is on

So lets keep the post going. If you own a base model, do you hear a cracking poping sound only when the heat is on. If you do have this sound, go to the DEALER COMPLAIN AND HAVE IT DOCUMENTED.

THIS IS NOT HOW A VEHICLE SHOULD SOUND.

I've heard the cracking/popping noise in my 2012 Limited, but it's definitely not when the heat is on because I never have had the heat on once since I purchased the vehicle. It seemed to be doing it at random times with and without the AC on, but in the last week and a half I haven't heard it at all. Guess we'll wait and see on this.

Glad I'm not the only one hearing this, I thought I was going crazy for a little bit.
