Cory, thanks for message, I have not yet resolved this issue. I have been led to believe that the the Car2U is not compatible with my garage, however the Homelink in my Audi works like a charm and was as easy as can be to program.

Had mine a couple of weeks as mentioned by others and no real issues here. There was a rough idling issue (put that down to new engine) which has disappeared in the first week.

I will post some pictures of mine, and let me know with any questions

Cory, thanks for the message, I'm pretty certain I will require a conversion module. Good to know they have them. Once I'm back home from Afghanistan I will take care of this. Thx

Picked up our 2013 Limited 4 x4 2 days ago. Swwweeet ride. Car2U programing was a snap. Had a very bad wind noise above 40mph, turned out that the luggage rack cross members were mounted backwards. Quite as a mouse now. I think we will keep it.

Congratulations on your purchase leapout and welcome to the Forum.
Word of caution, don't mention mice to JDraper. He had them causing problems under his hood.

You got that right, Peter. Mice or any squeaky animals are still a sore subject.

Picked up my 2013 Limited 03/28/12. I love the truck so far, but haven't had much time to get into the "programming" aspects of it. My husband and I will be attending a class this Tuesday evening at the dealership to become more familiar with it.

And a big Thanks to Cory for answering my "Where's my truck?!?!" pm's! We placed the order on 01/28/12 and I was getting really antsy to have it come mid-March.

Welcome to the Forum TD2013.
I have had my 2011 Ltd for just over a year now and really like it. Hope you enjoy yours as well. A class presentation is a really good introduction to the new Explorer. I'm still learning things about it myself. As for Cory, well he has been a great help to many of the members here.
Happy motoring.

Peter

TD2013,

A big “you’re welcome”! When do we get pics of the new beauty?

I ordered my 2013 on 1/17/12 AND STILL NO EXPLORER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Not only is the waiting KILLING me, but I sold my car so I have NO vehicle to drive. I know it will be worth the wait but I'm about to freak out! I would like to thank Cory - his updates have been the only thing that has kept me sane this long.

I feel your pain, KDupuy! I sold my Cobra three days after I ordered the Explorer, then had to rent a car until the Explorer came in 8 1/2 weeks later! As much as I hated spending the money on a rental, I LOVE my new Explorer!

My husband and I had a personal tutorial last night on the SYNC at the dealership. I had been playing around with it already, and found most of it to be very intuitive, but it was nice having someone get "deeper" into it and really show the system's capabilities.

Pics will be forthcoming!

WOW I sold my car at the end of January and have been using friends/family vehicles and getting rides with people since. I can't imagine having to spend that extra money on a rental.....although it would have been easier. Thank God I have wonderful friends and family! I spoke with my dealer and he said that my Explorer should arrive TOMORROW!!!! Happy Easter to me!

Welcome to the Forum KDupuy.
After all that waiting and anticipation, I do hope your Explorer comes in tomorrow. It's strange how these orders and deliveries work out. It has been this way since I've been on this Forum.
