I cant find any on ebay, but you may be able to get away with using 2nd gen TL guards as that is an updated 2nd gen.

Ok. So first off you're in the wrong sub-forum. I see this is only your second post so I'm going to assume you haven't looked around here too much. I personally don't mind answering questions, but I'd kinda like to see that you actually put the effort into looking before I chime in.....

That being said, these are the sub-forums you need:

http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...play.php?f=120
http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...splay.php?f=97

I did a quick Google search on my phone for 2000 Explorer taillight guards and there were several results.

There are loads of helpful threads here and some of the nicest members around. Almost every question has already been asked at least once, and a little homework would turn that up. The FIRST thread that pops up in a search is this one, and it has the answers you want:
http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...il+light+guard

Good luck!

Difference probably is that he is searching '2002 Explorer Sport Tail Light Guards'. I assume they are the same as second gens.

He probably is. Still, a little reading on here would have put him in the right direction in the first place.

I don't mean to come off as an a-hole, that's why I answered his question. Just informing him on how the process works...

Ok? First I have been on this site numerous times looking for this, second why would I look in look in sport tracs if it's a different tail light. Third why would I look in the one for the older explorers if it's for a 02. Forth it's posted in here to see if someone with a 02 SPORT 2DR not TRAC but the 2DR if they have them or where I could possibly buy them, and if you wanna be a mister kno it all, you find them and post it on here showing I quote "will fit 2001-2003 Explorer Sport" and remember not sport trac, it's a sport thanks smart a$$

Says they sell a black powdercoated version when you punch in 2002 explorer 2 door

and for sport models use the 95-01 sub forum per 2002-2005 explorer sub forum description

Whoa now little fella. If you DID actually search and read about it, you'd know that your 02 sport is based on 2nd Gen. 95-01 Explorers, NOT 3rd Gen. 02-05 Explorers. Sport and SportTrac models are both based on 2nd Gen. Ex's. It says it right in the description of this sub-forum. The links I posted are correct, you just don't understand quite how it works... This is NOT the 2001-2003 Explorer Sport sub-forum.

And it looks like Kazer found you one so, problem solved.

I hope in the future you will go through the proper channels to find the part or solution you're looking for, and you leave the hostility out of our forum

Well it's good thing he doesn't belong in our sub-forum so we won't have to hear from him anymore

1. Learn your place
2. Watch what you say, especially to Senior and/or Elite members, we may not be moderators but he old some weight with them and you can get banned easily for acting the way you did.

Those sports are the same as the 2nd gen platform.... Just different body panels. I bet a 2nd gen light would bolt up to your 02.
