Thanks, I agree, of course I am a little bias though!! He was having so much fun the day we took pics, not only did he get to sit in the drivers seat, he also got to so go the top of the parking ramp, which he always thinks is SOOO cool, lol.

Blue Belle is bad for a car name.
However, I will be solve this when my bug deflecter comes in.

It is a US Flag theme with an eagle in the center. When it is mounted the X's new name will be Liberty Belle.

Lol, yea I think Liberty Belle is a little more suiting for a car. 8-) We still have not named mine officially, have just been calling it 'the Ex'. Not very original but it works for now...I haven't really named a car since my very first car that I bought in High School. (a 1990 Red Plymouth Sundance that I called REDbecca...nice right??? Haha). But I feel that a name is needed for this one, after all it is just an infant. 8-P

Nope, they are neither. The difference between these and the OEM lugnuts is that these have a washer type flange that hold the wheel cover on. The wheel cover does not snap onto the rim. The OEM's do not have that flange and as a result won't hold the cover on. The parts guy was very upfront with the cost. They did give me the option of returning the wheel covers but I decided to go for it anyway.

10/4-Sounds like a good design just very very expensive, and good customer service on the parts dept. Out here it is hit or miss with some of the dealers, some care, some dont.

Wow !

That is one heck of a good look’n machine!

I noticed that you took the pic at 2:25pm, no? Is that when the earthquake hit? Your ‘Ex’ took the quake quite well judging from the looks of things - ‘ole blue got really tilted there for a while. Those are the Cape Cod bridges in the background I’ll bet. Neat “OLS” (on location shoot) . I hope the seagulls don’t like your Explorer so much that they leave a deposit on her…

I haven't seen an explorer in person yet with that color. The blue looks really nice. Great photographs as well. Congrats on the new ride.

I saw it last night and was laughing out loud. Husband asked me what was funny - I said it out loud - kids laughed a LOT! Husband just rolled his eyes. (whatever - he doesn't get it!).

Just didn't have a sec to post here until now

Sure is, the new Ex's are starting to grow on me. Recently sat in an interior of a new one. Lots of Room and very nice materials.

Updated to Review our ride so Far!

Well we took our first road trip this week, and I have reached 3500 miles! I think the Ex is officially broken in now. We got the vehicle April 11th, and so far I really dont have a lot of complaints about the truck, the few minor issues I have had have been with MFT. Every now and then there seeme to be days where the Ex just cannot understand me, I have to give voice commands 3 & 4 times before it gets it right. It is still intermitent on reading my text messages to me (which is not a big deal to me, I generally don't want to interrupt my radio to hear them anyways).

And most recently (while on our road trip) the radio was acting funny. The push button (volume button) was not working, my dash said the audio was off when clearly it was not, and while it was playing the music on my USB drive, the screen said it was playing my CD. I tried shutting the Ex off, but it did not change anything, then the next time I shut the car off, the radio did not turn off. Even after we had all gotten out of the truck and shut our doors. The push button was still not working so I had to start the car and shut it off again for the radio to go off. This went on the rest of the day, but the next day it was fine and I have not had any problems since then.

As far as our road trip went the Ex did well, went 946.5 miles in 22.5 hours of run time. Filled up the tank twice while we were gone (so three tanks of gas) and I have 40 miles (according to the Ex) on the third tank left. Mileage is not the greatest, but its Iowa, so it was nothing but hills and a few stops here and there for construction. 8-( The ride was smooth and quiet (aside from the kids, lol) I really enjoyed having Sirius and not loosing the signal! What I loved the most was the ROOM!! We were visiting family and it was so nice being able to go places in one vechicle and still have room to put stuff!! It was nice to not have to worry about what we could/couldn't buy because we had plenty of room to haul it all home!

OH, and we are very glad the Ex comes with roof racks as the mother in law forgot we were pulled only partially out of the garage (NOT my park job...but that is another can of worms) when she headed to the gas station ahead of us and shut the garage door on us...thankfully no damage!!

And while I am doing a little mini review, I am copying my post in another thread about features I use most/least...

I use the interactive dash/steering wheel controls a lot for changing radio stations and my climate. (getting to the point where I don't even have to look at it to change it). My hubby uses the Dual temp feature ALL the time, I like it nice and toasty, he disagrees, lol. (and my 4yo loves that he has vents in the back as well now). Use the rear camera a lot! Has actually saved me a couple of times...well saved other drivers I should say. Also nice to have with my son, he usually doesn't play in the driveway, but I am always nervous when he is in the yard and I am backing out.

I only use the voice controls for phone calls usually (unless someone new is in the car and I am showing off, lol). I have not used the terrain select, although I haven't really taken it anywhere to use it yet. Maybe this winter... haven't used the remote start much yet, but definately this winter! I also rarely use the keyless entry, just a few times when I have had my hands full with the carseat and forgot to dig my keys out.
