Why not go to a local spring shop? There should be a number of shops in your area. Look for springs under auto parts in the yellow pages.

I know you would like them new, but if you go to the scrap yard, find a good looking explorer, and look at the leaf springs. If they are decent you can get them for 75 bucks a piece! Then just buy new bushings and bolts and you can re-use your factory shackles if they are good. I know you wanted new, but this is a cheap and viable option.

The only problem with used ones is that they are usually sagged - which the Explorer is notoriously known for (the so called "gangster lean").

Not cheapest by any means but still reasonable in my book. ARB Dakar leaf springs.

http://www.autoandtrucksprings.com/ I got mine from ATS, and they where shipped fast, they answered all my questions, and came with all the parts I needed. I also got new front mounts, and rear shackles, from them too. only complaint from me is that the paint they use on the springs is crap, I am going over them soon with some POR 15, but the front mount, and shackles are not anywhere close to the springs.

Nothing wrong with local! If everyone went local (assuming they do a good job-that is the key) then places wouldnt be going out of business left and right. Always a fan of supporting local IF they are legit and deliver what they promise. Sadly, that seems to be a thing of the past with alot of places today.
