Ranger Tailpipe on an Explorer?

I had a Custom bent tail pipe made for my 84' Ranger that I would like to use on my 97' Explorer. Has anybody interchanged the pipes on these trucks or know rather or not it would work? I know there are a lot of differences under the 2 trucks but I would rather have an idea before I start hacking up my exhausts and find it not work out.

Thanks in advance!

Im rite there with ya im about to do a v-8 swap in my 97 sport I've got all stainless 2.5 inch magnaflow parts v-8 cats for a four door ball flanges dual in dual out muffler and ...ranger dual tailpipes... It looks like they will fit as far as goin around everything and length seems to be where they differ. I know you are talking about a single pipe but its the same idea. I think you can do some measuring to figure length an be ok
