Travel Trailer

Im looking to buy a Travel trailer for me and my family but im getting kinda confused. Im told that my X can handle up to 5600lbs but the hitch im ordering is rated at 6000lbs WD thats not much of a diffrence but what im having a hard time understand is do i include the weight of my X with the weigth of the TT or just the TT it self? Does it also matter on the lenght of the TT? I have a 96 XLT 4x4 4dr 3.73's Auto

Check the owner's manual for the rating and definitions. If you don't have one, you can download it at Ford Fleet:
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp

The towing section starts on page 271 of the PDF.
