Strange issue
I was wondering if anyone has ever had this happen. Since I bought my 98 Mountaineer it has had what I figure to be a front pinion bearing noise at higher speeds(noisy while on throttle but quites up when you unload it).
Today,I finally decided to install new shocks, left upper control arm and warrior shackles. Now the front bearing noise is reversed. I know adding the shackles will change the pinion angle in the rear but I didnt raise the torsion bars at all(was sagging in the rear, now it sits 1/2 lower in the front).I have never had a noise reverse itself.Any ideas? |
