Fan clutch nut woes [SOLVED]

Love to meet the so ans so who tightened this WAY beyond the 30-100 lbs-ft. of torque.

Yes. That IS a $62 wrench because the $20 cheapo that came in the kit stretched from 1 7/16" out to 1 1/2".

I can't get it to budge. I've tried PB blaster and a butane torch. I have a pneumatic hammer..... back at my house 110 miles away from where I am now (visiting my dad).
Any ideas?

No, it was standard threads, as the haynes manual stated. I just got back from an auto repair place here in town (Parsons, TN) and they spent an hour and 20 minutes trying to get it lose. Finally, it yielded when we put it in a vice like I had at my dad's, and used even more leverage with cheater bars on both wrenches. In the end, brute force won the day. Kinda good, but kinda aggravating, as soon as it let lose, it spun off like a brand new bolt. I wonder if, because the nut is close-ended on the fan clutch side, if it adds trouble by way of suction?

i gues the lefty righty clutch is related to whether it is direct driven or reverse rotation, my old 300 ford six had left hand clutch, i havent had to take fan off my wifes 98 exp yet so havent had that exposure, i do have the tools, bought at quater price, kragens selling off discarded tool line, i think 18 dollars but dont remember,, KD though so its good one,, god luck and congrats, buck
