Sport class III hitch?

Hey fellas. I have a 2000 Explorer Sport 4x4 with SOHC, 5speed auto & 4.10's.

Can you guys give me your advice/opinions on which Class III hitch is the best for my application. I would like to tow my Mustang to a few out of state shows & want the best. Thanks for your insight into this matter.

Hidden Hitch, Draw-Tite, Reese are all Cequent Technologies products.

U-Haul buys their hitches from Curt, Cequent, and Valley.

All of the hitches are produced by Cequent, or Valley Industries for the Explorer.

If you have a choice, the hidden hitch style hitches seem to look the best, IMHO... Either way, I'd maybe be a little leery about towing a car with a monoleaf Sport...

Here are some pics of the hidden hitch:

I got mine through etrailer.com it's a tossup as to whether their ebay listings or website listings are less. They are 99% of the time the least expensive though. I think it was ~160 shipped IIRC. But that was a few years ago...

Good luck, emma! All of the hardware needed will be with the hitch. All you need is a ratchet, sockets, and a larger box wrench to hold the other end of the bolts.
