Not an auction but this is at the bottom of an OnlineMetals.com page

Quote:
At OnlineMetals, we all failed shop class. Multiple times. As a matter of fact, our employment applications specifically ask to see people's grades for their high school shop classes. If they're too high, they go into the rejected pile. We're also not engineers, and cannot make any specific recommendations about the suitability of a given alloy, temper, or shape for your project or application.
Here's the page itself (scroll to the bottom):

The thing that bothers me most about this is it wouldn't actually take a lot of work to make that front end flow with the rest of the truck and actually look like the retro-modern creations that we have seen in the last decade.

A bit of metal work to blend the headlights into the fender more, cut off the lower part of the front sheet metal immediately below the lower grill (possibly make the lower grill a little smaller in the vertical direction so it doesn't go so far down), adapt or make an actual bumper, smooth and fill the vents on the side of the engine bay, possibly angle it so it is a little wider where it meets the fender than the top, and smooth the transition from the engine bay to the fender so the front is all one probably look right.

Going with the small window on the back of the cab just looks silly considering the rest of the cab still has the modern aero, big window styling.

I would rock an escort hard if I could fit in one still. That, and fit all three kids in back. Gone are the days when I can comfortably drive in a car where I have my knees on the dash and my head pressed firmly against the headliner.

Reminds me of the Rodster S10 conversions. They used earlier generation S10s though. They made versions for the S10 Blazer too.

Those fit the lines a lot better. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind the sentiment at all on that S-10 I posted. I've been thinking about doing those kinds of things too, but I just don't like that it looks like he went at it half-heartedly.
