It is just an indicator showing which screen you are on. Press the right or left buttons and you'll see it change

As he said, It also shows that there are more screens available for that particular function by scrolling left or right.

Thanks for the info. I can sleep a lot easier now. I have had this Explorer for a year now and I am still finding something new every week.

Welcome to the Forum tstacey.
Rest assured that you are not alone in this. There is a lot to learn and remember with this new Explorer.
Happy motoring.

Hey, I have a bunch of 0's as well. You'll be happy to know Vince that I finally got rid of that far left 0 today. It took almost 1 1/2 years to do so but I did it. Of course that only equates to a little over 6200 miles. I may catch you yet, providing you park yours for a year or so.

Peter, do you even drive your ex? LOL!
We took delivery of our ex on MAr/2011 and we are already at 20,000 MILES !
I think you took delivery about the same timeframe as us?

I picked mine up March 14, 2011. I take it out every now and then to get the dust off it. As you can see from the picture, Ive driven 110.4 km (68.6 miles) since my last fill up which was July 18th. Much of that was done today in a 64 km (40 mi) round trip. I was thinking of packing a lunch.
I'm retired but obviously don't travel much. In this town, the furthest store is about a 20 - 25 minute walk. Unless I have a lot of things to buy, I'll walk. It isn't unusual for the Ex to sit in the garage for 3 or 4 days in the summer. In the winter I coach minor hockey, something I've done for 44 years, and then I usually put on the majority of the mileage. I doubt my next 'top up' will be much before the end of the month.

Peter
