The sunroof on my 04 Explorer stopped working without any notice, when I push the open switch it does nothing, no noises or movement. I checked the fuses under drivers side and under hood and they are still good. When I tested the wires using a light tester, I noticed that none of the wires to the switch seem to be "live" which I assume that at least one wire on the switch should make the light tester light up... Is there a way to test just the motor? I dont want to waste money replacing the motor if I dont have to. Thanks

Do the windows and power locks work?

Possible causes are

Open in circuits 400 (LB/BK), 1205 (BK), 1173 (BN/OG), 1174 (WH/RD) or 1175 (TN/RD)
Damaged or inoperative roof opening panel control switch
Inoperative roof opening panel motor assembly
Inoperative accessory delay relay

Welcome aboard!! :salute:

Here you go. This is from my '02 shop wiring diagrams, but it looks like it coincides with chopperb's circuit description.

Hope this helps out. :biggthump
