Here's the link to my album. The second page has a comparable "before" with 31s and 1.5" of lift.

Shes a little dirty in the new pics....Let me know what you think.

Byrd91,
Do you have 31x10.5 or 33x10.5 tires. If they are 33x10.5, what kind are they?

I don't have a link but here's what it is:

-Superlift 4" coils (bad idea, I should've specified Skyjacker when I called or gotten something non TTB)

-Duff TTB drop brackets (seems to be the best in terms of quality and not stressing the frame)

-Duff extended radius arms (would not do this again, would go skyjacker, tuffcountry, camburg, autofab, etc) Tires rub at full lock because Duff arms are straight, even with only a 10.5" tires. Oh...I broke one too somehow.

- Spring over with Superlift kit in rear, no overload springs

-Duff brakelines, pitman arm

I think thats about it. I would say with 4" I could easily fit 33x12.5s with slight rear of front fenderwell trimming for offroad, it'd be fine on road right now. But you know, all Ex's are different, there are people running 33s with 6" and more of lift so.... If I were to do it all again I would have just saved up and gotten the skyjacker 4" class II and done an SOA in the rear....but my setup is pretty good, front coils could be better, but oh well.

What were your reasons for this? Ive heard you get a softer ride if you remove the overload leaf and if that is why you did it, how does it ride now??

thanks
Ryan

He probably did it to lower it a little. I took mine out, even though I still have sua, thinking it would help the ride, and it didn't do anything.

Yeah, the ride is unchanged. You get more flex though in compression, and if you go into compression quickly you won't get as harsh a jolt as if the overload were present because the springs kind of slap the overload, takes away for the linearness of the pack. Also, like Kyle said, atleast 1/2" of height in that overload, so it sits more level with only 4" in the front.

Hey that's what I want! Perfect combo for me, also like that bumper. Do the 10-50's feel stable, as far as body roll?

10.50s feel very stable to me. I've also heard thoughts about them being too narrow for the height, but they really look proportional and feel fine. 9.50s look a lot skinnier to me, and I believe the width difference is actually more than an inch, so I would maybe believe 9.50s would be pushing it. Also remember, BFGs have triple sidewalls (I think) so they are rigid to begin with. Hopes that answers your questions.

Thanks for the response, with the lift I have now, I think I can go 32's, but not sure if the 11.50 would be too wide. I do know with 29's I have an easy three inches to rear of wheel well
