I have the opportunity to buy a new set of General AT tires for my 97 explorer for a great price ($305 out the door comlete. does anyone have these or any of the other General products? My tire guy say's that the BFG's Michelins are great, but way over priced.

It depends on which BFG tires you're talking about. I have the BFG AT KO and they are terrific so far but a little noisy on the highway.
