I replaced the clutch, pressure plate, slave, andmaster cylinder on a 95 explorer. Now the clutch doesnt release enough to put it in gear,I have blead the system and can see the slave cylinder move. Is it possible that i have installed the clutch disk backwards causing this problem? any sugestions nwould be appreciated, thanks Matt

hello,

Hey the problem you are having is most likely caused by air left in the slave cylinder, even though you bleed it out already it still has air in it,i recently replaced the same things in my 94 and had the same problem, and it took 4days of bleeding to figure out what the problem was,you must make sure truck is completly level and then pump the pedal up and open the bleeder and let it gravity bleedon its own just make sure the resivor does not go empty, the ticket is having the truck completly level, let me know how it works out for ya.
