Installed component speakers up front..Much better! Pics of tweeter install.

I replaced my factory speakers (separate tweeter and woofer style) with a pair of Alpine Type S 6.5" components. I have to say the difference is night and day. The factory setup has the drivers all aimed at your leg. While driving, I would primarily hear the passenger speaker over my side. Now with the tweeters mounted up higher, it evened out the soundstage drastically. Im no audiophile but Im happy with the setup.

Also, these speakers fit perfectly in the Scosche 6x8-6.5" adapters. All I had to do was drill holes for the screws.
