I have a 1996 explorer that I recently got. When I engaged the front axle the lights work and you can here it engage. But it didn't pull. I jacked up all four wheels and placed on jack stands. Started the truck and engaged the 4x4. When it's up on the stands you can see all four wheels turn but you can stop the front tires from turning with your hands. I can feel a slight click while holding the tire. Wondering what could be the cause. Is it the gears in the housing?
