Saturday I had a crank but no start. I thought it was the fuel pump but I had good pressure. Narrowed it down to the CKP sensor and checked it by taping on it. Sure enough it started right up. Great, now I have to decide if it was just the connection, which I cleaned, or if I should go ahead and replace the sensor. What do you guys think. How difficult is it to replace? I have huge hands and find it difficult to reach in there to unbolt the sensor. Anyone have any secrets?

If that CKP sensor is the original with over half a million
miles on it, then I'd replace it. I haven't had the pleasure
yet myself, and it does appear to be hard to access,
although it's easily seen from underneath.

If you remove the bottom bolt first, that should give more
room to get at the top bolt. When installing the bolts,
masking tape will help to hold the bolts to the socket
to get them started...
