Hi, I have searched through the threads and can't find anything to help me.

As stated I have a 2006. With the outside temps at 90.

The air coming out of the vents at engine idle is 80 and the higher rpms the air from the vents is 70.

The low side pressure is 50 But the high side pressure will not go above 125 even after adding some refrigerant.

I am assuming the high side pressure indicates a problem.

Can anyone be of assistance please?

Wow, pretty odd symptoms, particularly that at 90°, your refrigerant is going to be at 105 psi. 125 psi is almost no compression at all.

Normally, very low "high" pressures usually indicate low levels of refrigerant, but that would be accompanied by much lower "low" pressures than you report and probably would have the compressor cycling on and off.

I suspect your compressor has a broken valve (or worse) internally and simply cannot generate the compression needed.

Thank you!

Prior to posting this question, I reclaimed all existing Freon and vac'd it. Then refilled it and no improvement was noticed. I will look for a compressor.
