2008 Ford Explorer 4X4 4.0L V6, driving along and the A/C goes from the dash vents to defrost vents on top of the dash randomly. Only does it for a few seconds then returns back the the dash vents.
I have done some reading on older explorers that appeared to have a vacuum leak causing the issue.
Would it be the same issue here? If so, where would vac lines that I need to look at be located? It has manual dial controls on the dash for the climate control. I have not looked behind the controls to see if there are any vac lines going to it.
