New to using forums...

Hello folks, I am completely new to using any kind of forum so I apologize in advance and will do my best to behave... Need some help finding out why my 05 Explorer XLT is having AC issues. It is blowing cold air through the dash vents but the air flow is not as strong as it used to. I also hear a bit of a whistling noise coming from the vents. The charge is good because the air is cold. It is just the strength of the air volume that is being disrupted somehow. Any suggestions?

Maybe a housing has cracked or a tube is loose under the dash letting air escape into the dash?

Welcome to this forum! Look for a cracked or disconnected vacuum line. One of the servo pistons is probably partially open due to insufficient vacuum. The noise might be a vacuum leak.

The return air intake could have sucked in some debris ; "big mac" wrapper. Lol
