I was recently trying to remove my fuel filter when i accidentally ripped the braided fuel line leading into the fuel filter in half. I cannot find this line anywhere, it seems to be about an 8 inch segment coming from a metal line which goes back to the gas tank. Can it be removed from the metal line and replaced separately, or will i have to have the dealers replace the entire thing?

Anyone know where i can get this hose besides a ford dealer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You're pretty much stuck with the OEM Ford from a dealer of salvage yard.

When doing work with my Fuel Pump, I broke the braided line too, I just replaced it with Fuel Injection hose from NAPA and used some good clamps on it.

how's that line holding up

hey cypher, how's that patch? i must have used a crappy line. the clamps were fine, however, 2 pinholes formed a lil over a year later. scary stuff.
