2004 Ford explorer headers?

So I have an xlt and was thinking about some headers. I don't know what the limitations are in the tight engine bay but its probably not impossible to do. I would like to improve the performance of the truck, I mean its an old truck nothing special but in the end if problems do arise I think I would fix them instead of junkin it. Id like to progressively add more parts to it and eventually a lift, if headers aren't the way to go I would really want a lift. I was thinking some btf spacers and extended control arms. what do you think?

I cant say for certain, but I've always read that headers won't fit our rigs.

They fit and a few people have them (zerodevil being one). When he starts his engine swap, I plan to snag his from him.
