I got a bone-stock 2000 Explorer XLT V8 AWD a few months ago. I put new BFGoodrich all-terrain t/a tires on it, and am enjoying it very much!
I really like that it does well on and off road, and want to keep it 50/50. I am considering keeping it all stock, but am entertaining the idea of putting certain performance parts on it.
It has 168k miles on it, and needs some tlc because a lot of things seem to be breaking or wearing out, so I'm very glad to have this site as a resource, and hope to be able to contribute back to this community some day!
