WTB: 1991 parts

I need a driver's door lock plastic piece that holds the lock rod: its a white color, and both front door power window motors. I think that's what is wrong with my windows.

Probably plastic bushings worn out. Rebuild them yourself - http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=233353&highlight=power+window+motors+plastic

What about the plastic piece that the door lock rod hangs onto? Would that be a part I'd need to get from the dealer? There's no way I'm going to a junkyard for that.

If you have it off take it into your favorite auto parts store and try and match it to one from the Help! section. I didn't have any luck with that and just went to the dealer. It is a common problem and they had a drawer full of them right at the counter.

Ok. Yeah, I had a 1994 Explorer that the same thing happened, and I managed to find the clips on ebay. Will try that route again.

I bought a package of 3 clips for ford vehicles. Six dollars at local auto parts store.
