my bubble's burst

Hi, I'm a single soccer mom with three kids & a German Shepherd. I bought a 96 Explorer LTD 4x4. I was so happy with the size & all the extras. When I picked it up today, there's a crack in the windshield & the odometer & speedometer don't work. I want to love this car & I need your help to not feel impetuous & stupid.
