4 x 4 does not work
Interior lights do not work
Power windows do not work

Followed these instructions and changed relays plus put in new #26 fuse

Everything worked fine for about one day

Now fuse #26 (10 amp) keeps burning out... changed it four times!!!

Any thoughts????

Hello,

Right. Sounds like a bad short to me (why else would the fuse keep popping?). Do you have wiring diagrams for your vehicle? If so, I would go through each wire and check for burn-throughs, frayed connections, and proper grounding.

Good Luck,

ERUSH

Sounds like a short to ground if the fuse keeps popping. Do you have a meter or at least a test light? If so, trace back the power.

Thank you for the suggestion but to check the wires from the fuse panel looks a little taunting. Is there any other way to check for this problem without having to pull out the fuse pane?
