Tried searching, maybe I'm just missing the thread
Just bought a 98 Ford explorer sport, 4.0L automatic, its drives fine in in all the gears except reverse, when its cold it seems OK, but after it warms up, it just revs with the occasional time it catches and will move a few feet before it just revs. Checked the fluid, Its full and cherry red(I think they tried to change the fluid in hope of fixing it). Is this something stupid to fix or am I better off getting a low mileage junkyard unit to switch in? I'm kinda getting limited on free time (I deliver heating oil/propane) would like to get this on the road soon(got other small things to do as well) any links or tips or info is highly appreciated, I'm a Chevy guy but I've always liked the explorer sports
