More progress.

Bad news is I broke the camera switch when pulling it back out of the mount. Springs and other parts went flying and it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. ..almost literally  I'll have to order a new switch body.

Still have to cut out, cup holders, cb, switch mount and volt meter.

Yeah that's my buddy Nate's. It's his daily driver and he works at Universal Studios. He also owns, Night Rider, the original Bat Mobile, the Shaqwuar and the Back to Future Toyota 4x4.

You thought I was crazy:eek:

This where it sits as of tonight. Still have to do some clean up and paint, but you get the idea of where it's going. ;)

How high does the ammo can stick up? I thought about dong that in my ranger but it ended up to high and was going to be an elbow knocker.

It's a 20mm can. 14-1/2H x 8-1/4W x 18L. It's huge inside, and I have never had a problem with hitting my elbow or burning myself from the hot sun. It really the perfect height.

I cant find the post with the build pics of the can console.. Did you add hinges? I think The big can I have is 20mm but it has clamps on each side. Only my 30 cal and 50 cal cans have hinges but they don't look big enough to use as a console.

No hinge. You weld the latch on one side, but you need to cut off the bottom part. The latch becomes the hinge.

I was going to weld in exhaust tubing for cup holders and I thought. ..Why? I can just order $2.99 drop in one's from Amazon :D

Although not interior, I made a guard for the light bar. Kept getting a reflection off the windshield, and a bit of dust made it blinding. :(

I painted it black, but here you can see it better before I painted it.

And I thought I had way to many kid toys packed around my truck in the garage. :D

With the '16 Ex in the Garage you have to side step to make it through the garage. The Power Wheels really made it complicated.

Time for a bigger garage ;)

Superhero approved
