missfire after jetting engine bay... Help!!

so after a week of offroading my entire vehicle inside and out was caked in mud... ive jet washed the engine bays on my vehicles for years without issue.

However today after cleaning the engine my car has started to missfire.

I need to solve this today as I have a long drive to do tomorrow to collect another explorer.

Never mind, fixed it!!!

The solution was just to run it for a while, due to the engine bay having to get a deep clean with the jet wash, I managed to get water into the engine somehow. The missfire was just water in there somewhere. Once I'd driven it for about half hour the water evaporated/burned off and the car coughed, sneezed and backfired and hey presto. running smooth again.
