Transmission question with PICTURES

Hey guys,

Ive got a 99 explorer and as some of you may know I blew out revers and made a hole in the tranny case! So I took the tranny out and snapped a few pictures to help identify it.

I already installed the spare tranny I had laying around and it looks identical to the original one that I took out. Im not exactly finished with the installation, all I have left to do is change the filter, fill and test.

My question is :

-What transmission do I have? (the one with the pictures)
-If the transmissions look identical, does it make them the same?
